Obituary for James Walter Elsner Jr.
James Walter Elsner, Jr., of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on February 6, 2017. He was 82.
Mr. Elsner was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to James Walter Elsner, Sr., and Mary Eva Wright Elsner. He was the dear brother of Diane Graybeal, loving uncle of Cynthia Lynn McGonigal of Baton Rouge, LA, Donald Graybeal, Jr., of Havre de Grace, Scott Graybeal and his wife Tonia of Shiloh, Ohio, and Jeffrey and Jennifer Graybeal of Havre de Grace, MD, great-uncle of Kelly Juban, Jessica Rogers, Tyler Graybeal, Cody Graybeal, Tanner Graybeal, Keegan Graybeal, Jared Graybeal and Johanna Graybeal, and great-great uncle of Chelli Juban and Cameron Rogers, Jr. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Donald Graybeal, Sr.
Mr. Elsner served in the U.S. Army for 2 years. He worked as a civil engineer at Aberdeen Proving Ground. He enjoyed horse racing, sports, and watching the stock market.
Services will be private.
Contributions may be made in his memory to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 201 Mt. Royal Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
