Sidney Edwin "Sid"  Williams Sr.
Sidney “Sid” Edwin Williams, Sr., of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on June 26, 2018. He was 84.
Mr. Williams was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to Frederick A. Williams and Theresa Palmer Williams. He was the devoted husband of 21 years to Sharon Mae Williams, loving father of Sidney E. Williams, Jr., and Randall Steven Williams of Havre de Grace, MD, Robert E. Sampson and his wife Susan of Aberdeen, MD, Charlotte McFarland and her husband Larry of Havre de Grace, MD, and Samantha Scott and her husband Kenneth of Port Deposit, MD. Mr. Williams was the cherished grandfather of Lyndsey Scott, Kasey Sampson, Kelsey Sampson, Kory Sampson, Nicole McFarland, Owen Scott, Ava Williams, Wade Williams, Lisa Marie Williams, Sidney Williams, III, Dominic Williams, Damian Williams, and Christa Bella Williams, and great-grandfather of Joseph Anthony Privett, III. He was predeceased by his siblings Frederick Williams and Dorothy Pickard.
Mr. Williams was the owner and operator of Pasqualini Construction Company. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a Life Member of the Havre de Grace Elks Lodge, American Legion Post 47 and the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum and Young At Heart. Mr. Williams enjoyed decorative carving of various ducks and birds of prey.
A viewing will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018, from 4-6 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 PM. Pastor Norman Obenshain will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Decoy Museum, 215 Giles Street, Havre de Grace, MD, 21078.
